Circle of Grace Curriculum
Bishop Hendricken participates in the Diocese of Providence’s Circle of Grace curriculum, an annual program designed to provide students with age-appropriate lessons focused on personal safety, healthy boundaries, and recognizing the sacredness and dignity of themselves and others. The curriculum incorporates four core areas each year: Sacredness, Boundaries, an Action Plan when provided for the grade level, and Age-Appropriate Vocabulary.
As part of the program, Circle of Grace lessons are presented to students during the school year, and parents and guardians are notified annually about the curriculum. Parents and guardians also have the option to opt their student out of participating in the in-class Circle of Grace lesson by completing an Opt-Out Form or submitting their request in writing.
