The Diocese of Providence and Bishop Hendricken High School utilize FACTS Management to allocate funds and determine the amount of aid to be awarded to a student. FACTS is a national tuition and financial assessment company specializing in K-12 education.
The Admissions Office will notify all prospective families when the FACTS form becomes available online and in the office, usually by November 1st. The Business Office will also notify returning families that it is available. All families should complete the FACTS application at the earliest possible date to be considered for financial aid.
Bishop Hendricken High School awards merit scholarships to students in each freshman class who show the greatest academic promise. Merit scholarships are awarded on the basis of the student’s performance on the entrance exam (HSPT), their academic performance in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, as well as exemplary school citizenship. Other private donor scholarships and tuition assistance efforts may be available each year based on a student’s financial need and academic performance. That review is ongoing throughout each winter and spring. The Admissions Office will pre-qualify applicants based on specific criteria and notify the student if he qualifies to complete a separate application process.
