Students from the following cities/towns must return their textbooks to school during the week of their final exams: East Providence (including Rumford & Riverside), Warwick, Providence, North Kingstown, and out-of-state.
8th Grade SELECT students from these cities/towns can drop their books off in McNally Gym. Seniors from these cities/towns can drop theirs off in McNally Gym. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors can drop theirs off in their exam classrooms.
In the unusual event that a student is absent due to illness, please email the teacher and Natalie Kessimian at nkessimian@hendricken.com. 8th Grade SELECT students should email their teacher and Christopher Sheehan ’09 at csheehan@hendricken.com.
Students may dress down for their final exams.
No cafeteria service will be provided for students on freshman, sophomore, and junior final exam days.
8th Grade SELECT students can purchase lunch on Friday, June 7, 2024 if they’d prefer and will be able to eat during 3rd and 4th lunch.
Buses will be available during all final exam days.
For senior exams and the 8th Grade SELECT exam on Friday, June 7, 2024, morning and afternoon schedules will run as usual. 8th Grade SELECT students are encouraged to be picked up following their last exam each day.
For freshman, sophomore, junior, and 8th Grade SELECT exams on June 10-11, 2024, afternoon pick-up at school will be 1pm. On the final day of freshman, sophomore, and junior exams, buses will pick-up at 11:30am.
Students with extended time will be able to utilize it at the end of each exam.
All cell phones, mobile devices, and smart watches will be collected, put in backpacks, or pockets. All backpacks will be placed at the front of the classroom.
There will be no homerooms or Academies during final exams for each grade. Students should report directly to their first exam of the day on time and upon arrival to campus.
All underclassmen are invited to join us for the End-of-Year BBQ after the final exam on Thursday, June 13, 2024 on the back lawn near the 100 wing! Buses will depart campus at 11:30am.
