WARWICK, RI (December 1, 2021) – On #GivingTuesday this year, the Bishop Hendricken family stepped up in a big way! Led by the Advancement & Development Office, the Giving is in our DNA campaign chronicled and celebrated the most transformative gifts in school history with the goal of inspiring 400 donors to give back, too.
With the examples of some of the greatest philanthropists in Bishop Hendricken history, 567 donors gave on #GivingTuesday, far exceeding the goal and last year’s final count of 457. Together, the Bishop Hendricken community raised $141,763 in one day to benefit The FUND for HENDRICKEN, the ASCEND Fund for teachers, and the Hawks Helping Hawks lunch fund for students. The final dollar count eclipsed last year’s total of $132,419.
