Help us to welcome our newest faculty members to the Bishop Hendricken family!

“Hi, I am Mr. Burdier! I was born in the Caribbean; my family and I moved to the U.S. when I was 7 years old, and have lived in Rhode Island ever since. I graduated from Providence College where I received my degree in Philosophy. I also spent some time discerning a vocation to the priesthood, and during my time in discernment and formation, I had the privilege of living in Italy for three years. During that time, I learned Italian and received an STB from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas. I also had the honor meeting Pope Francis and serving with him in the liturgy. My hope for my students is to inspire, empower, and help our young men cultivate good habits and virtues. I am passionate about making a difference and an impact in their lives. As you know, high school is not just a certain number of years; it is a vital time of growth. During this time is when our youth not only search for the meaning of life, but also for concrete ways to go about living it. I hope to be a part of their journey as I share our beautiful faith with them, and introduce them to Jesus who fills them with a good dose of courage to walk in new and uncharted paths, who opens up new horizons capable of spreading joy, love, faith, mercy, peace, friendship, and hope.”
