Bishop Hendricken students to perform at 79th Annual All-State Festival

WARWICK, RI (March 11, 2019) – Bishop Hendricken is proud to announce that 12 student musicians and singers were selected to perform at the Rhode Island Music Education Association’s (RIMEA) 79th Annual All-State Festival and All-State Jazz Concert.
The All-State Festival takes place at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence on Sunday, March 17th. Bands perform at 11am, Orchestras at 2:30pm, and Choruses at 7pm. Tickets are $10 at the door. The All-State Jazz Concert takes place at the URI Fine Arts Concert Hall on Wednesday, March 13th at 7pm. The Jazz Concert is free and open to the public.
“I am very proud of the hard work that the students put into their All-State auditions,” said Mr. Sean Donnelly ’07, Instrumental Music Program Coordinator. “I cannot wait to hear these young men perform with the best musicians that Rhode Island has to offer. I know that they will represent Hendricken well at the All-State concerts this week.”
