DECA shines at Rhode Island state competition

PROVIDENCE, RI (February 14, 2024) – Last week, Bishop Hendricken DECA members competed at the Rhode Island Association Career Development Conference at Johnson & Wales University in Providence. Twenty-four students earned either a first or second place finish at the state competition and will move on to the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California this April.

Hendricken students who participated in the state competition hail from the DECA Academy, Club, and elective offered on campus. Students excelled in presentations of innovative business plans and on-the-spot roleplays in which they crafted unique and effective solutions to business problems. The full results are below:
