Bishop Hendricken announces 2020 National English Honor Society Inductees
WARWICK, RI (April 29, 2020) – Today, Bishop Hendricken High School is proud to announce the following students have been inducted into the National English Honor Society as members of the 2020 induction class.
The National English Honor Society is an organization celebrating students who have demonstrated exceptional ability in areas including literary analysis, media studies, composition, linguistic study, and creative writing. Inducted members have maintained high academic performance in their English classes for at least two consecutive semesters and have also submitted writing samples demonstrating their skills.
“As a faculty, we are proud to celebrate the 2019-2020 candidates as our 10th inductee class,” said Ms. Sarah Murray, English faculty.
At Bishop Hendricken, National English Honor Society inductees also serve as mentors in our student Writing Center. The Writing Center is an invaluable resource for students at Hendricken. The mentors have built a community that is welcoming, caring, and helpful. They work tirelessly for their peers, and the teachers appreciate all the work they put into the Writing Center.
