Bishop Hendricken’s Shane Ciunci ’26 Selected as Coca-Cola Scholar

WARWICK, RI – Bishop Hendricken High School is proud to announce that Shane Ciunci ’26 has been selected as a Coca-Cola Scholar, one of the most prestigious and competitive scholarships awarded to high school students in the United States.

Shane is one of just 150 students nationwide chosen for this honor from a pool of approximately 110,000 applicants, placing him among the top fraction of students in the country. As a Coca-Cola Scholar, he will receive a $20,000 merit-based scholarship to support his college education.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program recognizes high-achieving high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding leadership, a strong commitment to service, and a dedication to making a positive impact within their schools and communities. Now in its 37th year, the program has provided more than $87 million in educational support to over 7,000 students across the nation.

Known for his character, work ethic, and leadership, Shane has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom. His selection as a Coca-Cola Scholar highlights the impact he has made at Bishop Hendricken and beyond.
