59th Annual College Fair takes place this Friday

WARWICK, RI (September 10, 2025) – Bishop Hendricken High School will host a range of colleges and universities from across the United States this Friday, September 12, 2025. A full list of attending schools can be found below.
Organized annually through the School Counseling Office exclusively for Hendricken students, the College Fair is in its 59th year. Visiting schools range in size from fewer than 2,000 students to more than 15,000 and represent private, public, and Catholic colleges and universities located in the Midwest, mid-Atlantic, South, and New England. This year, we are thrilled to welcome RI’s largest employer, Electric Boat.
“Once again, Bishop Hendricken High School’s School Counseling Office is excited to welcome more than 120 colleges to campus to meet our young men,” said Nicole Poloski, Director of School Counseling. “This is truly one of my favorite days of the year, welcoming college representatives and seeing our students engage with them, discovering all of the opportunities that await them.”
The Class of 2026 will also attend a presentation by Becky Mulholland, Director of First-Year Admission and Operations at the University of Rhode Island.
Also attending will be College Planning Center of Rhode Island, a free resource offered by the Rhode Island Student Loan Authority (RISLA). The College Planning Center provides guidance on applying for financial aid—including grants, loans, and scholarships–and assistance with completing the FAFSA and CSS profile.
“Each year, the college fair makes a lasting impact on our students and the entire school community,” said Mark DeCiccio ’03, Principal. “We are deeply grateful to the incredible college representatives who take the time to connect with the Hendricken Men of the future.”
We have approximately 40 colleges visiting for individual meetings this fall these include Boston College, Dartmouth College, New York University, Wake Forest University. Morehouse College, one of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities, will be meeting with students virtually.
