John Manning has been a member of the Bishop Hendricken faculty since 2012. A member of the Class of 2006, John earned his Bachelor of Science in History and Bachelor of Art in Secondary Education from the University of Rhode Island. In 2022, he earned his Master’s in Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In 14 years in the classroom, John has taught US I, US II, AP US History, and AP American Government and Politics. He was named Teacher of the Year in 2024 by the Bishop Hendricken administration. John is also a three-season coach at the school, having coached football for 10 years and track and field for 14 years. He is currently in his 6th year as the school’s Head Sprints/Jumps/Hurdles coach since taking over the program for Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field. He will continue teaching while starting his new role as Director of Admissions.

Jackie White, Assistant Director of Admissions, brings 26 years of experience to the Admissions Office and a genuine understanding of the admissions journey from both a professional and personal perspective. As a proud Hendricken mom whose sons graduated in 2006 and 2008, Jackie knows firsthand the excitement, questions, and emotions that come with navigating the admissions process.

Throughout her years in Admissions, Jackie has made it her mission to guide families every step of the way. Her goal is to make the admissions experience as seamless and welcoming as possible, helping families check off each item on their admissions to-do list while ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident along the way. With her extensive experience and perspective as both an admissions professional and parent, Jackie is dedicated to making every family feel right at home
