10 students medal in National French Contest

WARWICK, RI (May 2, 2022) – Bishop Hendricken is proud to announce that 10 students have earned medals for their performance in Le Grand Concours, the National French Contest, including a Platinum Medal for the best score in the nation by Franceso Savoretti ’25.

Le Grand Concours is a national competition held annually and sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French.  Students were evaluated for their written, oral and listening comprehension skills in French. Students from all 50 states participate in the competition.

The following Bishop Hendricken students earned medals for their performances in this year’s contest.

LEVEL I
Jackson Forchione ’25 – Silver Medal
Robert Chace ’25 – Silver Medal
Zachary Iacabbo-Sawyer ’25 – Bronze Medal

LEVEL II
Franceso Savoretti ’25 – Platinum Medal (Best score in the nation)
Christian Briones ’24 – Silver Medal
Jack Hamilton ’24 – Silver Medal
Colin Murray ’25 – Bronze Medal

LEVEL III
Curt Daigneau ’23 – Bronze Medal

LEVEL IV
Akhere Edoro ’22 – Bronze Medal
Chase Andersen ’22 – Bronze Medal
