WARWICK, R.I. — Bishop Hendricken High School is proud to announce that its 2026 Cigar Dinner raised more than $100,000 in support of the Fund for Hendricken, marking another tremendous success for one of the school’s longstanding fundraising traditions.
Held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Alpine Country Club in Cranston, the Cigar Dinner brought together alumni, families, friends, and supporters of Bishop Hendricken for an evening of cigars, dinner, raffles, a silent auction, and an incredible showing of support for the school and its students.
Funds raised through the event directly support the Fund for Hendricken, which impacts all aspects of campus life at Bishop Hendricken, including student experiences, academic programming, technology, facility enhancements, and other areas of need throughout the school.
Bishop Hendricken extends its sincere gratitude to all of our sponsors for their support of this year’s Cigar Dinner. The school is also incredibly thankful to every donor, auction contributor, attendee, volunteer, and member of the Hendricken community whose generosity helped make the evening such a success.
“Raising more than $100,000 through this event is a tremendous reflection of the generosity of the Bishop Hendricken community. We are extremely grateful to everyone who came together to support our students and our school. Their generosity allows us to continue creating opportunities and experiences that make a lasting difference for our young men.” – President/Principal Mark DeCiccio ’03
The success of this year’s Cigar Dinner continues a tradition that has grown significantly in recent years. More importantly, the evening represents an investment in Bishop Hendricken students and the programs, opportunities, and experiences that help prepare them for success during their time at Hendricken and beyond.
Bishop Hendricken thanks everyone who helped make the 2026 Cigar Dinner an unforgettable evening and a remarkable success.
