WARWICK, RI (February 8, 2022) – Today, Fr. Robert L. Marciano, KHS ’75, President, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher Lefoley, CPA ’76 as Bishop Hendricken High School’s Director of Finance, effective immediately.
“Christopher Lefoley has been a lifelong friend and sterling Catholic gentleman,” said Fr. Marciano. “I am also pleased to appoint him to the Bishop Hendricken Board of Advisors to serve as Chairman of our Finance Subcommittee. His 40+ years as a CPA and auditor fills out our finance team with precision and expertise.”
In his new position, Lefoley will guide and advise Mrs. Heather Picillo, Business Manager, and the Business Office. In making the announcement, Fr. Marciano also highlights that Lefoley has deferred any salary for the position, stating: “I am glad to give back to the school that gave so much to me. From our youngest days at St. Francis School in Hillsgrove, Hendricken and Catholic education have been a part of my family history.”
“Chris’ late mother, Gloria Lefoley, was an active member of the ‘Save Hendricken’ parent committee in 1970 that convinced the late Bishop Russell J. McVinney, D.D., LL.D., to reverse his decision to close Hendricken,” added Fr. Marciano. “How proud she must be of her son now leading the effort to make Hendricken fiscally strong now and into the future.”
Lefoley lives in Warwick with his wife, Kathy Vient. His son, Brad Lefoley, is a member of the Class of 2003.
