WARWICK, RI (May 10, 2023) – Fr. Robert L. Marciano, KHS ’75, President, is pleased to announce the addition of Denise Lopez P’23, ’25 to Bishop Hendricken’s Development Office. Lopez begins her role as Development Officer on May 11, 2023. In her post, Lopez will be responsible for discovering, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts as well as overseeing critical fundraising events and activities.
Lopez joins Bishop Hendricken with an experienced background in business and accounting. Most recently, Lopez served as a Business Analyst in Fidelity Investment’s RESUME Program. From 1999-2007, Lopez was Assistant Vice President and Senior Business Analyst for Deutsche Asset Management in New York and Boston. Prior, she spent six years in various roles for PFPC, an investor services group now owned by PNC Bank, including Senior Business Systems Analyst, Unit Manager, Lead/Senior Fund Accountant, and Mutual Fund Accountant.

Marciano. “Denise is already an involved and dedicated Hawk parent, and she brings her long list of professional credentials and talents to a critical role in our school. A current Bishop Hendricken parent of two boys, Lopez has been heavily involved in non-profit leadership and community organizing. For 14 years, she held various positions, including president, with the East Greenwich Parent-Teacher Group in which she planned events, fund-raised, and expanded membership. Recently, she led the successful grassroots “No Medical Waste Facility” campaign in opposition of the medical waste facility proposal for Kent County.
Lopez holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. She is a 1989 graduate of East Greenwich High School and longtime resident.
