WARWICK, RI (October 24, 2022) – Bishop Hendricken High School and Iggy’s Boardwalk Restaurant will honor those who have served with a free Veterans’ Day Breakfast on Friday, November 11, 2022. All veterans, active military, and their families will eat for free and may choose between two serving times at Iggy’s Boardwalk in Warwick: 8am and 10am.
All veterans are invited to attend and should RSVP to Peter Thomas ’86 at 401.889.5424 or firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, November 3, 2022.
“We are pleased to once again partner with our neighbors at Iggy’s to offer a small token of our community’s gratitude and appreciation for our veterans,” said Fr. Robert L. Marciano, KHS ’75, President. “May God continue to bless America and all those who have served.”
On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, Fr. Marciano will also host a prayer service in honor of Veterans’ Day at 10am in the War Memorial Prayer Garden on campus. A reception will be held in the President’s Dining Room following the ceremony. All are invited to attend; no RSVP required.
Joining Fr. Marciano for the festivities will be Chaplain, Col., Msgr. Mark Rowan (Ret.), a 35-year member of the United States Air Force and a decorated war veteran. Col., Msgr. Rowan will speak during the prayer service on November 9 and will also greet guests at the Veterans’ Day Breakfast.
