WARWICK, RI (February 12, 2026) – Bishop Hendricken High School is proud to announce the appointment of John Manning ’06 as the new Director of Admissions, effective July 1, 2026.
A lifelong member of the Bishop Hendricken community, Manning’s connection to the school began as a student, graduating with the Class of 2006. He is currently in his 14th year of teaching at Bishop Hendricken and has remained deeply involved in student life and athletics throughout his time at the school. Manning has coached both cross country and track and field and currently serves as the freshman class advisor. He was also among the first teacher-coaches at Bishop Hendricken, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to academic excellence and to supporting the professional success of his fellow faculty members.
Manning holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education with a concentration in History from the University of Rhode Island, as well as a Master of Science in Political Science and Government from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
With his strong academic background, extensive experience in education, and deep-rooted passion for Bishop Hendricken, Manning brings a unique perspective to the admissions role. His dedication to fostering relationships and supporting young men in their educational journeys will continue to strengthen the mission and future of Bishop Hendricken High School.
