WARWICK, RI (June 16, 2020) – Father Robert L. Marciano, KHS ’75, President, is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Michael Nolette ’84 as the school’s new Director of Operations & Finance. Nolette replaces Mr. Paul Danesi who served in this role for 26 years. We are ever-grateful to him for his service these many years.

Mr. Nolette is a member of the Bishop Hendricken Class of 1984, and after his four years here, went on to the United States Air Force Academy. He then served for 24 years in the Air Force in various financial capacities, eventually rising to the rank of Lt. Colonel and serving in various locations across the globe. His final assignment was as Comptroller and Commander of the 375th Airlift Wing, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. There, he developed, planned, and executed a $110 million dollar acquisition, operating, and maintenance budget.

Nolette was awarded the Bronze Star for his participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was deployed as the Chief Financial Officer of the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Arabian Peninsula. After active duty retirement, he completed the Masters of Education program at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. From 2012 until his return to Bishop Hendricken, Nolette served as a Mathematics teacher at Westside High School with dual-enrollment at the University of Nebraska.

Additionally, his experience in the classroom as an educator and mentor to students makes him a perfect fit for this important position.
