The Mental Game Tour comes to Bishop Hendricken on January 19th

WARWICK, RI (January 9, 2024) – Hendricken Cares is proud to welcome Brandon Saho, sports reporter and mental health advocate, to Bishop Hendricken High School for the Rhode Island stop of The Mental Game Tour on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 11am in Harrop Theater.

As part of his 30 states in 30 days tour to save lives, Saho’s hour-long program will share his story, anecdotes from guests on his podcast, The Mental Game, and answer questions from attendees. The event is open to all Bishop Hendricken students, faculty, and staff. No RSVP or tickets required.

“We’re very excited to welcome Brandon and The Mental Game Tour to Rhode Island,” said Mark DeCiccio’ 03, Principal. “Brandon’s story, background, and podcast make breaking the stigma accessible to our students on their own terms. We look forward to an inspiring and helpful conversation.”

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Saho attended an all-boys Catholic school and loved sports. His longtime dream came true when he became a sports reporter covering the NFL and college football on TV. But behind the scenes, Saho was struggling with severe depression and thoughts of suicide. After getting the help he needed, Saho created The Mental Game, a podcast interviewing athletes, musicians, and celebrities to break the stigma.
