Midterm exams are MANDATORY, however, if your son cannot attend due to illness, please email Leslie Hubert at lhubert@hendricken.com and provide the school with a healthcare provider’s note the following day. An administrator will contact your son to schedule a make-up exam.
There will be no homeroom or Academies during midterm week. Students should report to the classroom of their exam by the beginning of the exam time.
Students will be asked to place their backpacks at the front of the classroom for each exam. Cell phones will be collected or put in the cell phone pockets of each classroom. No smart watches are permitted.
Students are not permitted to leave any exam early; they will sit for the entire exam period.
All morning buses will arrive at Bishop Hendricken according to their normal schedule.
Afternoon Bishop Hendricken, Warwick, and Coventry buses will depart campus at 1:15pm.
Afternoon East Greenwich, West Warwick, Foster/Glocester, and Scituate buses will depart campus at 2:30pm.
Students who do not have an exam during a period may leave campus (or arrive later to campus), but must arrange for their own transportation.
Breakfast will be available for purchase in the cafeteria from 8am-8:25am each day during midterms. Snacks will be available for purchase from 10:30am-10:55am.
There will be no lunch service during midterms.
In the event of inclement weather that causes a cancellation, all exam time slots will remain the same and periods will slide to the next time slot. Midterm exams will then carry over to the week of Monday, January 27, 2025.
In the event of a cancellation, we will provide you with an updated schedule that reflects this policy.
All students may dress down during midterm week.
