WARWICK, RI (June 11, 2025) As the academic year concludes, Bishop Hendricken High School proudly reflects on the success and lasting impact of its Senior Experience Program. This program provides students with hands-on, real-world learning opportunities in professional fields each spring.

Vice Principal Chris Sheehan ’09 praised the program, calling it “an invaluable experience for them that helped to wrap up their high school careers in a very positive way.”

One standout participant, Braeden Campbell ’25, used his Senior Experience to help bring a new business to life at Freedom Car Service. Over the course of the spring, Braeden researched, developed, and co-founded an eco-friendly LSV shuttle service: Freedom Express, which will officially launch next week in Newport, RI.

Braeden led the initiative from start to finish. He met with the Mayor of Newport, securing state licensing, sourcing vehicles, and raising startup financing. He turned what began as a student project into a real-world business which is used to serve the community around him.

“We’re incredibly proud of him and we’re excited to share more about Freedom Express very soon!,” said Braeden’s parents, Rebecca and Dennis Campbell. Braeden’s parents are grateful for his time spent at Hendricken and the opportunities he was given to be able to open his own business.

As the Class of 2025 prepares for their next chapter, Bishop Hendricken is confident that the experiences gained through this program will translate into successful careers and impact in their futures.
