WARWICK, RI (April 20, 2026) –Bishop Hendricken High School is proud to announce that rising senior Elijah Guertin has received 22 Division I scholarship offers for football, marking a significant achievement in the program’s long-standing tradition of excellence.
A standout tight end and defensive end for the Hawks, Guertin has distinguished himself as one of the top prospects in the region through his combination of athleticism, work ethic, and leadership on and off the field. His growing list of offers includes opportunities from some of the nation’s most competitive collegiate football programs.
Guertin’s Division I offers include: Boston College, Brown University, Bryant University, Dartmouth College, Michigan State University, Pennsylvania State University, Rutgers University, Stony Brook University, Temple University, United States Air Force Academy, United States Military Academy (Army), University at Buffalo, University of Arkansas, University of Connecticut, University of Illinois, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Pittsburgh, University of Rhode Island, University of Tennessee, University of Wisconsin–Madison, and Wake Forest University.
In addition to his success on the field, Guertin remains dedicated in the classroom and actively contributes to the Hendricken community, embodying the values and standards of the school.
