Bishop Hendricken High School is proud to announce that junior Danu Kim has been selected as a Coolidge Senator by the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation, a highly competitive national recognition for exceptional high school students.
Danu was chosen as one of just 100 juniors nationwide from a pool of more than 5,000 applicants. This distinction highlights students who stand out not only for their academic excellence, but also for their leadership, civic involvement, and strong interest in public affairs and policy.
In addition to his academic achievements, Junio is an All-State Band member and a dedicated varsity tennis student-athlete, demonstrating his commitment to excellence both in the arts and athletics.
As part of this honor, Danu will receive a scholarship award and an invitation to attend the Coolidge Senator Summit. This immersive program brings together top students from across the country for several days of learning and discussion. Participants explore the legacy of President Calvin Coolidge, engage with experts in government and business, and take part in conversations centered on current national and global issues.
