Bishop Hendricken Recognizes the Top 10 Students in the Class of 2026

WARWICK, RI (May 8, 2026) – Last week, Bishop Hendricken High School continued its tradition of celebrating academic excellence by hosting a special breakfast honoring the Top 10 students from the graduating Class of 2026. Faculty and staff joined the students to recognize their exceptional academic performance, reflect on their time at Hendricken, and discuss their plans for the future.

During the breakfast, students shared meaningful memories from their high school experience, highlighted educators who made a lasting impact on their journey, and spoke about their upcoming college plans and career aspirations. The gathering provided a moment to recognize not only academic achievement, but also the commitment, discipline, and resilience demonstrated throughout their years at Bishop Hendricken.

The Bishop Hendricken community extends its congratulations to these students and wishes them continued success as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

John Paul Beyer, Benedictine College (not pictured above)
Combines academic curiosity with entrepreneurship and leadership. He founded his own online chess course and is a member of the chess, French, and Spanish clubs at Bishop Hendricken while also contributing to the chess team.

Tristan Boyns, University of Southern California
A passionate business and marketing student, business owner, and Division I soccer athlete who balances entrepreneurial initiative with athletic excellence.

Shane Ciunci, Harvard University (not pictured above)
Distinguishes himself as captain of the tennis team, Bishop Hendricken Man of the Year, and founder of a nonprofit organization, demonstrating leadership rooted in service and initiative.

Kiernan Elliott, Villanova University
Serves as an active student ambassador and theatre student, contributing to school life through performance and engagement with the broader Hendricken community.

Matthew Pappas, Johnson & Wales University
Brings a strong record as an All-State wrestler, along with involvement in piano, mock trial, and service as an altar server, reflecting a balance of discipline, creativity, and faith.

Daniel Piampiano, Indiana University
Is a presence in both athletics and media, competing in soccer and wrestling while also contributing to the Hawks Morning Broadcast and serving as a peer mentor.

Alejandro Quintero Cashore, Yale University
Distinguishes himself as a multi-talented student-athlete and artist, participating in track and soccer, earning All-State recognition as a cellist, and contributing to the Brotherhood Club.

Andrew Ramos, College of the Holy Cross
Serves as captain of the volleyball team, participates in the Leadership Academy, and supports the Options Program as a peer mentor.

Aengus Soden, Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Makes his mark through athletics, competing in both wrestling and rugby while embracing the challenge and commitment required in both sports.

Jetson Wilk, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Pursues interests in technology and innovation through tech theater, the robotics team and Technology Academy, and peer mentoring.
