Everything to Know About Friday’s Game vs. La Salle

Varsity Football’s Injury Fund match-up with La Salle Academy has been cancelled for this Friday, September 3, 2021 due to COVID-19 protocol. The Athletics Office is working to find another opponent. More information will be communicated when it becomes available.

WARWICK, RI (August 30, 2021) – Varsity Football kicks off its season with an exhibition tilt against La Salle Academy under the lights this Friday, September 3, 2021! Kick-off is slated for 7pm at Hayden Stadium on campus. Here’s everything you need to know…

Injury Fund
The rivalry contest is part of the Rhode Island Interscholastic League’s (RIIL) Injury Fund weekend. Proceeds from the game will go to defray medical expenses for athletes injured during competition. All tickets for the game are $5, and every entrant must purchase a ticket.

Pre-Sale Tickets
Student and family pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase at all lunches from Tuesday, August 31-Thursday, September 2, 2021. Four tickets maximum per individual.

Alumni and general pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase at the Athletics Office beginning on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Tickets can be purchased during school hours each day between 8:10am-2:30pm. Four tickets maximum per individual.

La Salle Academy and St. Mary Academy – Bay View will also have pre-sale tickets for Friday’s game. Students, families, and fans from either schools should contact their respective Athletics Office to purchase.

Gate Tickets
The gate will open at 6pm. A limited number of gate tickets will also be available on Friday, but fans are highly encouraged to purchase pre-sale tickets ahead of game day in order to guarantee admission and skip lines.

Parking
Parking will be available on campus on a first come, first served basis. The Warwick Avenue and Oakland Beach Avenue lots will be open for parking until filled. Additional parking will be available at the Big Lots parking lot located adjacent to campus at 2485 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889.

Fan Sections
Bishop Hendricken’s student and fan section will be located on the grand stand behind the home sideline. La Salle Academy’s student and fan section will be located behind the visitors sideline. Staff will be on-hand to guide fans to their respective sections on admission into the stadium.

All Bishop Hendricken students are invited to a pre-game tailgate with music and lawn games in the Oakland Beach Avenue parking lot beginning at 5:30pm.

How to Watch
Fans unable to attend the game can watch live, and for free, on Facebook and YouTube. Fans may also utilize the NFHS Network.

Accommodations
The Hungry Hawk snack bar will be open for concessions during the game. Restrooms are available inside the stadium. Golf cart shuttles will be available for patrons needs assistance from the admissions gate to the stadium.

Fan Etiquette & Sportsmanship
All athletes, coaches, officials, students, and fans are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship at all times. To read sportsmanship expectations, click here.

Media Credentials
All media and photographers must be credentialed for sidelines access. Media and photographers without a 2021-2022 RIIL credential should contact Christian Kabbas to request a credential from the school for the game, here. No fans or spectators will be allowed on the sideline or inside the perimeter of the field at any point.
