WARWICK, RI (May 20 2026) – Bishop Hendricken is proud to recognize three outstanding Hawks who will be flying to new heights in the next academic year.
Congratulations to Alejandro Quintero Cashore, who will be starting his college journey at Yale University. The prestigious Ivy League university marks the next step in Alejandro’s journey. Alejandro is a standout student as well as an All-State cellist and a founding member of the Dolce Honors Cello Quartet. He is also a star on the soccer field and serves as president of the Bishop Hendricken Brotherhood. Alejandro is a top scorer and gold medalist for the Bishop Hendricken Academic Decathlon team. Alejandro has been recognized for his leadership, dedication, and contributions to both the arts and athletics.
Jetson Wilk is off to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, becoming one of the first Bishop Hendricken graduates in history to attend the institution. Jetson is a dedicated student who consistently excels academically. He has helped relaunch the Bishop Hendricken Robotics Team and has joined the newly reformed Technology Academy. He also serves as a Peer Mentor for the Options Program and dedicates his free periods to assisting in Options Program classrooms. Jetson demonstrates strong character through his partnership with a nonprofit organization, where he helped develop chemistry kits and lab curriculum for students in Ethiopia. Jetson’s work reflects a strong commitment to innovation, service, and global impact.
Shane Ciuci will attend Harvard University, where he will begin his freshman year at a prestigious Ivy League institution. Shane is a Coca-Cola Scholar as well as the founder of Rally4Rackets, a nonprofit that helps make tennis more accessible by redistributing refurbished racquets. On campus, he can be found on the tennis court as captain, in the Options Program classroom as a peer mentor, or on the volleyball court as a unified volleyball player. Shane is also the senior class president and has recently received the honor of being named Bishop Hendricken Man of the Year. He is a member of the Leadership Academy, Peer Ministry, and the Academic Decathlon team. Shane is recognized for his leadership, service, and commitment to building community through athletics and advocacy.
