Justice Francis X. Flaherty ’64 to chair Board of Advisors

WARWICK, RI (October 6, 2022) – Today, Fr. Robert L. Marciano, KHS ’75, President, is pleased to announce the appointment of The Honorable Francis X. Flaherty ’64 as the new Chairman of the Bishop Hendricken High School Board of Advisors. Justice Flaherty takes over for longtime chair, Thomas Harkins ’76, this school year.

Justice Flaherty is a retired Associate Justice on the Rhode Island Supreme Court, former Mayor of Warwick (1985-1990), former Warwick City Council member (1979-1985), former Warwick assistant city solicitor (1975-1987), Bishop Hendricken alumnus, and proud parishioner of St. Kevin’s Parish.

Joining Justice Flaherty as newly appointed members are Christopher Lefoley ’76, Chief Financial Officer of Bishop Hendricken, and David Corsetti, Founder and President of Premier Development, and new parent of two boys at Hendricken, Davide ’26 and Nico ’27.

Marciano. “We welcome Justice Flaherty, a legacy parent and grandparent, the father of Brendan ’92, Michael ’92, and Sean ’09; and grandparent of Aidan ’24. His lifelong devotion and faith-filled life of public service inspires us to do the same. Our thanks to Mr. Lefoley, our CFO, for his financial guidance, and Mr. David Corsetti, a new Hendricken parent and successful business owner for his wise counsel.”

The Board of Advisors serves as the chief counselors to the President and Principal to help keep Bishop Hendricken’s Catholic mission alive and thriving. They also serve to assist with strategic issues, vision development, guidance, and policies.
