Hendricken wins state golf title! Congratulations to coaches Rick Angeli ’84, Norm Alberigo and the rest of the varsity golf team on winning the team state championship at Cranston Country Club! Hendricken bested Moses Brown with a two-day total of 599-607 to take the title. The Hawks ended the Quakers three-year reign as team champions. Barrington came in third place with a total of 643. Bishop Hendricken High School’s Academic Decathlon Team won its 7th consecutive RI state championship in March earning them a trip to Madison, Wisconsin to represent the state in the United States Academic Decathlon (USAD) 36th National Competition.  The team, coached by Sister Carol Ann Murray, made history on this past Saturday, April 22nd placing 1st in Division II (schools with fewer than 1,500 students)!! Congratulations to head coach Jamal Gomes ’91 and the rest of the varsity basketball team on winning their second consecutive state championship!
