Bishop Hendricken’s Robotics Team competed in the RI FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) State Tournament Qualifier on Saturday, January 14th at New England Tech in Warwick, RI.
The Hawks finished 2nd overall and earned first place in match play as they handily qualified for the state tournament scheduled for February 4th. Hendricken also earned honorable mention for the Judges “Inspire Award”, the “Innovate Award” and “Think Award”. The Hawks won the Judges “Control Award” for implementation of multiple technologies in design and execution during the match play portion.
