Christian Kabbas ’14 to depart Bishop Hendricken after 7 years

WARWICK, RI (April 4, 2025) – Today, Mark DeCiccio ’03, Principal, announced the departure of Director of Communications, Marketing and Admissions, Christian Kabbas ’14. After 7 years of dedicated service to Bishop Hendricken High School, Kabbas has accepted a position as Associate Campaign Director for Marketing and Communications at Providence College. Kabbas’ last day is today, Friday, April 4, 2025.

“Christian’s passion and drive is unmatched,” said DeCiccio. “He has been indispensable to our school community in every aspect and every role he has held. It is incredibly bittersweet to see him go, but we wish him well in all of his future endeavors.”

“Serving my alma mater has been an absolute pleasure and experience I wouldn’t trade for anything,” said Kabbas. “I’ve had the great fortune of getting to know so many faculty and staff members, students, their families, and alumni while working to tell the important stories in our community, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.”

Kabbas has been integral to the Communications and Marketing Office since 2018, assisting in various ways in admissions and development efforts. Holding several positions over the years, Kabbas has effectively and creatively marketed our school, designed successful fundraising and admissions campaigns, overseen new community initiatives, and positively engaged students, families, alumni, and the greater community with Bishop Hendricken.

A longtime Arts enthusiast and educator, Kabbas will be staying on as the Technical Theater Program Coordinator, a position he’s held since 2018. He will also continue to teach a technical theater course.
