Class of 2022 earns $26.8 million in college scholarships

WARWICK, RI (May 31, 2022) – As Bishop Hendricken’s Class of 2022 prepares to celebrate its final day of high school classes, the School Leadership Team and School Counseling are proud to release the soon-to-be graduates’ matriculation and college placement statistics, highlighted by an impressive $26.8 million earned in career college scholarship offers. A full breakdown is below.

College Scholarships & Acceptances

  • $26.8 million in career scholarship offers
  • $6.7 million in first-year scholarship offers
  • 19 students earned first-year scholarships in excess of $100,000
  • 582 acceptances from 150 colleges for the Class of 2022

Student Participation

  • 52% of students participated in at least 1 club or intramural sport
  • 77% of students participated in at least 1 sport
  • 32% of students participate in at least 1 arts program
  • 37% of students participated in either the Leadership Academy or an Arts Academy
  • 17% of students were either a Peer Mentor, Peer Minister, or both

Student Service

  • 3 students earned appointments to military academies2 West Point, 1 Naval Academy
  • 7 students earned the rank of Eagle Scout
  • 10 students attended at least 1 mission trip
